ThaiQuest Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data ThaiQuest collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using ThaiQuest, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

• Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics and Meta Pixel to understand aggregate traffic patterns and measure ad/conversion performance (e.g., page views, device type, approximate region). These services may store cookies or similar identifiers to produce metrics. We do not receive personally identifying analytics data.
• Account data. If you create an account, we store your email, Supabase user ID, optional display name, and avatar selection with Supabase. We also store your quiz progress (stars, quests, XP) tied to your Supabase user ID.
• Local storage. When not signed in, quiz progress and preferences stay in your browser’s local storage.

2. How We Use Data

• Deliver and improve ThaiQuest features.
• Sync your learning progress across devices when you sign in.
• Monitor platform performance and fix issues.
• Respond to support requests or legal obligations.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data with service providers solely to operate ThaiQuest:

• Supabase (authentication, storage).
• Google Analytics (usage metrics).
• Meta Pixel (ad and conversion measurement).

4. Data Retention

Quiz progress stored locally remains on your device until you clear your browser storage. Supabase account data is retained until you request deletion or remove your account.

5. Your Choices

• You can play without signing in; progress stays on your device.
• You can disable Google Analytics and Meta Pixel using browser privacy settings, extensions, or opt-out tools.
• To delete synced data, email thaiquest.feedback@gmail.com.

6. Security

We use Supabase authentication and follow best practices to protect your data, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Children

ThaiQuest is intended for learners aged 13 and older. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal data, contact us to remove it.

8. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will update the “Last updated” date and encourage you to review changes.
